What Is Contractor Staff Screening?
Contractor staff screening is a background check on people who work at your site or on your systems but are employed by another company, such as a security agency, cleaning contractor, facility manager or IT vendor. It confirms each person’s identity, address and work history independently of the contractor firm.
The vendor may say its staff are checked. A US screening provider makes the point that relying only on the agency’s check can still leave the client exposed, so for high-access roles the client should run its own checks.

BPO Bangladesh charges a flat USD $45 per contractor staff member. This covers identity, a present address field visit, contractor employment, the previous employer and a global watchlist check. For 25 or more people, we quote a volume price.
Is the vendor’s own background check not enough?
It may be, but you usually cannot see what was checked or how. An independent check applies the same standard to every vendor and gives you evidence for each person.
Who pays for contractor staff screening, us or the vendor?
Either. Some clients pay directly, and some add the cost to the vendor contract. We can invoice whichever party you choose.
What happens when a contractor replaces a staff member?
The new person is screened before they get a site pass, at the same rate. We update the vendor sheet so your security desk always has the current list.
How long does contractor staff screening take?
Usually 3 to 5 working days per batch. A single replacement can often be finished faster.
Do contractor staff need to give consent?
Yes. Each person must give signed consent before we start. Bangladesh’s Personal Data Protection Ordinance, 2025 requires informed and explicit consent before personal data is processed. We can collect the consent in Bangla through the contractor firm.
Can you also check the contractor company itself?
Yes. Company registration, ownership and reputation checks on the contractor firm are quoted separately as vendor due diligence.
